The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Throughout the trailer for The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the white, autism, young-American, teenager are represented as being stereotypically nervous, unsocial and has difficult making friends. Logan Lehman,
who plays the lead-role in the film being Charles , who struggles with bullies, depression, is trying survive in high school. The freshman become friends with Sam played by Emma Watson who is his stepsister and Patrick played by Ezra Miller is a gay guy who is struggling with sexuality. Gay people are shown to be not liked and people who have to live in secret. Sam and Patrick introduce him to the real world and the life people live in high school.
